We are excited about an in-person RAC Conference but are aware of the numerous personal decisions that are being made by all on a daily basis as it relates to Covid-19. As many attendees will be coming from states with stricter rules or mandates, you will find that Texas is a state that has chosen to encourage personal responsibility and more limited government mandates. As a result, you will see most businesses and individuals have resumed to more normal activities prior to the pandemic. The following link is the Texas Department of Health Services that addresses ongoing Covid-19 concerns and executive orders as they relate to Texas https://www.dshs.texas.
As of now, we do not currently have any requirements to conference attendees as it relates to masks, social distancing, vaccines, etc. We certainly welcome and encourage that all attendees practice their own safety precautions as it relates to face coverings, hand sanitizing, social distancing, etc. We will continue to monitor any future executive orders by the Governor of Texas and will follow any subsequent orders prior to the conference.
Due to the ongoing changing environment, RAC will offer a full refund of conference fees up to August 31, 2021. After August 31, 2021, we have to commit to the hotel for expenses related to dining, refreshments, etc., and are able to offer a 50% credit to next year’s conference if cancellation is required by your own personal circumstance. This cancellation policy could potentially change if government restrictions are enacted restricting us from holding the event.
Attendance to the conference is made as your own personal decision and RAC cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, or spreading COVID-19 while attending the Conference. We hope you will come to conference and feel comfortable and safe making your own choices as it relates to the Conference and Conference activities. We also respectfully request that you respect individual decisions by all. Our conference and communication prior to the conference is not seen as the place for debate as it relates to this pandemic. We are all searching for our own personal path as we continue our lives and our business practices.
