Market Conditions (Time Adjustments) to Support the new GSE Requirements

This townhall will illustrate how to determine the adjustments necessary for each of the comparable sales included in your report and how to insert the illustrations.

Jason Tillema is a Certified Residential Appraiser and co-owner of Access Valuation and Education Resources, located in the Indianapolis, IN market. As a REALTOR and valued member of MIBOR, Jason also proudly served as the Appraiser Representative on the MIBOR Board of Directors from 2014 to 2016. His expertise extends to being a designated member of both the Appraisal Institute and the American Society of Appraisers, where he held the position of President for the Hoosier State Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 2014.

Currently, Jason holds a pivotal role as a member of the Appraisal Institute's newly established Residential Appraiser Committee, contributing his wealth of knowledge to further elevate the appraisal profession.

With an impressive career that began in 1997, Jason has been a prominent figure in the Central Indiana market, catering to diverse residential property types. He proficiently handles assignments for various purposes, including mortgage-related matters, as well as non-mortgage scenarios like Divorce, Estate, and Litigation cases.

In addition to his appraisal expertise, Jason has been an approved instructor with the Appraisal Institute since 2014, and he earned the distinction of being an AQB approved USPAP instructor in 2018. As a testament to his dedication to advancing the profession, he has designed and conducted numerous classes and seminars for Appraiser Continuing Education.
